Tour Description
Join this Adelaide City Experience Tour to visit some of Adelaide's highlights. Adelaide Central Market - an Adelaide Icon for fabulous fresh produce, gourmet products and interesting sights of these amazing markets in their busy life of providing fresh produce to it's customers. Self Guided walk with lots of time to stop and buy perhaps that special breakfast or morning tea.
Next we visit Tandanya Aboriginal Cultural Institute to view authentic indigineous artworks in the Gallery, visit the Gift Shop to perhaps purchase a souvenir and then view a Cultural Performance by either an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander performer.
The Adelaide Zoo is our next stop - to view the Giant Panda's Wang Wang & Funi in their new Panda Exhibit. These amazing Panda's are a delight to see and the Exhibit displays surroundings such as The Bamboo Forest etc.
If you prefer you can stay longer at this stop to include free time to purchase Lunch at the Zoo or continue on with the tour to our next venue.
A short City Sight tour is given for approximately 20-30 minutes to view some of Adelaide's historic buildings and lookout points. We next visit the National Wine Centre for a self guided Wine Discovery Journey - learn the stages of wine making processes from growing grapes and making wine to drinking & appreciating wine. Speak with a wine maker through the interactive computer hologram or try your hand at virtual wine making on the computer display. This is followed by a structured wine tasting. A good way to learn about wine before heading out to our nearby Wine Regions such as The Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale or Adelaide Hills.
