Tour Description
Light tackle sport fishing share charters are based on a miniumum of 5 anglers and a maximum of 6. Once we have 5 anglers booked on we will confirm the tour. Light tackle shares operate from January thru to August inclusive. Target species will vary depending on the time of year as all pelagics (surface feeding fish) are migratory. On 15kg line anglers can hook up on Spanish Mackerel, Giant Trevalley, Tuna, Sailfish, Juvenile Black Marlin and more. Our charters are suited for all levels of angling experience and our friendly and experienced crew are only too happy to assist the novice angler. On BILLFISH we supply all the bait, tackle, lunch, snacks, softdrinks and waters. Departure is from the Cairns Marina C-31 at 8.00am and return is approximately at 5.00pm. Sole charters are also available which means you can organise your own group with a maximum of 6. Sole charters can be groomed to suit the angler, whether you want to fish all day or stop off for a swim and lunch during the day.
