Itinerary:
In the morning board your coach for the City Highlights Tour. Visit Montefiore Hill, Colonel Light’s Lookout, for some of the best views of Adelaide and the world famous Adelaide Oval. Drive past Adelaide’s cultural precinct - North Terrace, St Peters Cathedral and Victoria Square. Travel through the city’s wide streets on the way to the Haigh’s Chocolate Factory for a tour and tastings of this South Australian chocolate, before heading to Glenelg, Adelaide’s premier seaside suburb. Take a walk along the jetty, shop along Jetty Road, grab a coffee or check out the local attractions including Holdfast Shores and The Beach House.
Return to Adelaide and enjoy a scenic cruise down the River Torrens on Adelaide’s City's iconic 'Popeye'.
* Depart from the landing stage at Elder Park in front of the Adelaide Festival Centre at 12pm.
* Travel along the river to the Torrens Weir, turn around and travel to the Adelaide Zoo before finally returning to the landing stage.
* Commentary highlights the many landmarks and points of interest.
