Let us take you to one of the best kept secrets in Australia! This tour is an adventure in the Royal National Park just south of Sydney. We hike through amazing countryside, stop at lookouts where the views will surprise you, swim at hidden beaches and in nature's pools, the famous one being the Figure 8 Pools. When you tell others what you have seen they won't believe it! You will need to have a good level of fitness for this tour.

Join our passionate Aussie guides on our eco-friendly tour as they take you to hidden beaches, coastal rainforest, stunning views, swim and explore in the famous Figure 8 Pools and meet new friends!

Visit the Royal National Park or as the locals like to call it, the 'Nasho' on our eco-adventure tour from Sydney. Explore this spectacular area found just 37 km (23 miles) and only 45 minutes south of Sydney.

See one of Illawarra's best lookout spots, also known internationally as a major hang gliding point at Bald Hill Lookout for spectacular coastal views.

Enjoy a guided hike in the worlds 2nd oldest National Park through coastal heathland and rainforest along part of the Coast Track in the Royal National Park. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and coastal views along the 6km return trek spotting native wildlife and birds along with whales and dolphins off the coast during the whale migration season. Our Coastal Hike includes some steep sections, rock hopping and requires a medium-high fitness level.

Walk through Burning Palms Beach and see the heritage listed coastal shacks and learn about the local area and how the 'shacks' came to be. Rock hop across the headland to reach the Figure 8 Pools and spend some time exploring this spectacular area, swim in naturally formed rock pools of all sizes and shapes including the famous figure 8! Grab your insta-famous #figure8pools photos while here! (only accesssible during low tide/safe ocean conditions).

Enjoy a picnic lunch with a selection of wraps and nibblies, then visit a little slice of paradise down the south coast at Wattamolla where the waterfall, lagoon and beach are at your fingertips. Head for a walk up to Providential Point Lookout if you like, enjoy panoramic views and see the impressive sandstone cliffs and headlands surrounding the local area.

After a full days adventure, sit back to relax as we listen to some great tunes and make our way out of the Nasho back to Sydney for our 1 drop off at Central. Enjoy a free drink at the end of the day at one of the local travellers bars in Sydney if you like!

  • Child policies:

    Rates are per person. Available to children aged 15 years and up only.

  • Additional Information:

    Medium-high level of fitness required, suited to ages 18-49 years, min age 15 years and is not suitable to anyone over the age of 60. The hike involves an uphill climb, uneven terrain and rock hopping.

    Trips operate during low tide/swell and in safe and calm ocean conditions. If the rock pools are not safe to visit, then an alternative activity will be offered in place of the pools. This will include hiking to a different waterhole in the National Park or visiting Kiama Blowhole and rock pools but will be decided on the day.
