After your morning at Tjapukai, travel north for 15 minutes to find Cairns Tropical Zoo. It's the best place to enjoy great wildlife presentations including Queensland’s ONLY Red Pandas, the fabulous Free Flight Bird Show, Snake Show, Crocodile Show, Koala and Wombat presentation and more. Take the opportunity to ‘Cuddle a Koala’ (extra cost applies). See one of Australia’s best reptile displays, hand feed tame kangaroos, meet cassowaries, cotton top tamarins, dingoes, alligators and more.
