Tour Description
Escape the City on a 4 day ecotour. On an Aussie Farmstay and Bush Adventures Tour you will leave Sydney and cross the Blue Mountains to discover the true character of the Australian Bush.
During an overnight stay on a family sheep farm you will see sheep being mustered with horses and dogs, sheep shearing, draught horses working, whip cracking and animal performances. You will enjoy a traditional campfire cooked meal with local farmers and their families, listen to bush ballads and bush poetry and marvel as you learn about the brilliant stars of the Southern sky.
Other highlights of the tour include:
An overnight visit to a family sheep farm, with a campfire cooked meal and demonstrations of farming practices, singing bush ballads and reciting bush poetry
Riding horses through wilderness bush in the Blue Mountains,
A cave tour at Abercrombie Caves,
Patting a koala, feeding kangaroos and seeing other native animals,
Sampling local wines and other produce in the Mudgee region,
Viewing ancient Aboriginal Rock Art,
Riding the Scenic Railway in Katoomba to wander through the majestic Jameson Valley,
