The amazing Kata Tjuta – AKA, the Olgas – is an assemblage of 36 impressive bornhardts (domed rock formations) that are located in the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The domes cover a massive 21.6km2 and hold great spiritual significance to the local Anangu Indigenous group, as the site is used for sacred, male-only ceremonies. In fact, some of these ancient ceremonies and surrounding legends are still kept secret and only shared amongst the Indigenous male ancestors considered worthy. This all adds an air of mystery to the site, causing many people to find Kata Tjuta even more alluring than Uluru!
