Tour Description
We depart l’ton only , p/u accommodation , we travel to the central highlands of Tasmania where most of Tasmania’s man made & natural fresh water trout fishing lakes can be viewed in there natural settings , we will 4wd on the tracks that are not on the map via’’ beautiful snow gum forests , lake edge views, plus a time to have a fishing lesson and may have a chance to catch a big trout !!! ,we also visit a highland pub for a drink and lunch ( Tassy Trout On Menu ) , after lunch we travel back via’’ the northern face of the central highlands ,via’’ 4wd tracks to the beautiful liffy water falls hidden away in spectacular rain forests , we continue on travelling country tracks and forest roads we visit a historical town of Longford ‘’ calling into the famous JJ’S Bakery and restaurant for a cuppa and cake of your choice , then returning back to your accommodation.
